He hasn’t shown his face in a while.
Stephen Collins was seen this past Friday in Los Angeles in a rare public sighting for the 7th Heaven star after the first allegations surfaced that he sexually molested underage girls.
The actor was reportedly heading to the Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills and tried to keep it as casual as he could but we guess it’s hard to not notice the actor these days.
This past December Stephen Collins revealed he did have inappropriate sexual conduct with a underage female, saying:
“Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since.”
He also talked about the recordings his recently divorced wife Faye Grant released where Collins admitted to the allegations, saying:
“On the recording, I described events that took place 20, 32 and 40 years ago. The publication of the recording has resulted in assumptions and innuendos about what I did that go far beyond what actually occurred. As difficult as this is, I want people to know the truth. I did have an opportunity to do so with one of the women, 15 years later. I apologized and she was extraordinarily gracious.”
Stephen Collins divorced his wife Faye Grant recently and they were able to avoid a public trial.
But we guess as it turns out Stephen Collins doesn’t mind the public life all that much after all.
