We’re still so shocked about this baby news!
The thing on every Directioner’s mind this past week has been Louis Tomlinson‘s announcement that he is expecting a child.
Since the news, many fans of One Direction have been fearing what will happen now that both Louis and Zayn Malik have other things on their plates!
Well, X Factor mentor Simon Cowell has finally opened up about the future of his act, confirming the pregnancy while saying:
“I said to (Louis), ‘You man up. You’re fortunate because you’re in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that.’ But I also told him, ‘I’ve received bad calls in my life but this is not one of them. This is your business but I’m here for you.’
(Louis) didn’t kill anyone. He got someone pregnant. It happens every day all over the world. Again, Louis has got great family around him and, look, it’s a plus, not a negative.
In terms of the band, they’ve got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do. Then I hope they’ll have a little bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It’s a fun job, but it’s absolutely their decision.”
Oh no!
We’re sure Louis is gonna be a great dad, but we don’t want to live in a world where 1D has to go on a break!

Hopefully when they do take some time off, it’s just a short while for Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Harry Styles write another album.
