Hey Everyone! Don't You Dare Call Game Of Thrones' Kit Harington A 'Hunk,' Mmmkay? You Know Nothing!

The dreaded “H” word.

We’re of course talking about the term, “hunk,” a demeaning expression… that’s also a nice compliment, but forget about that, right?!

It’s not like there are far worse terms that are used towards women that deserved to be put in the spotlight, right?

Hopefully, you’re catching where we’re going with our sarcasm.

Kit Harington has spoken out against being called a “hunk” in a recent interview — because even though he looks hot as f*ck in Game of Thrones, that doesn’t mean you should say he looks hot as f*ck:

“To always be put on a pedestal as a hunk is slightly demeaning. It really is and it’s in the same way as it is for women. When an actor is seen only for her physical beauty, it can be quite offensive… Well, it’s not just men that can be inappropriate sexually; women can be as well. I’m in a successful TV show in a kind of leading man way and it can sometimes feel like your art is being put to one side for your sex appeal. And I don’t like that…. In this position you get asked a lot, ‘Do you like being a heartthrob? Do you like being a hunk?’ Well, my answer is, ‘That’s not what I got into it for.’”

That was one “hunk” of a response!

Sorry… we’re sorry! We promise we won’t call you a hunk… you hunk.

Dang it! There we go again, making insensitive (but not really) goofs like that! Ugh. Foot equals in mouth.

Kit, we appreciate your beauty AND your acting chops (not the chops of your sword, but your abilities).
