Rihanna has been expanding her acting resume as of late, with roles in Ocean’s 8 and Valerian — and we’re SO here for it.
But RiRi will have quite the role to fill in the final season of Bates Motel, where she is showing up to play the most iconic horror victim of all time, Marion Crane.
Played by Janet Leigh in the original Psycho film, Marion was the ill-fated traveler who wandered into the titular motel while on the run from the law before famously getting butchered in the shower.
The pop star will be checking in for a multi-episode appearance, so will be interesting to get to know Rih’s modern day incarnation and see what troubles she’s fleeing before she (spoiler alert?) most likely dies at the hands of Freddie Highmore.
