It was fate!

When single parents Cathleen Cavin and Brian Herrera matched on Tinder they had no idea that they already shared a very special bond. Apparently during their courtship, the twosome discovered their cats are, in fact, twin brothers. Crazzzzzzy, right??

The couple met eight months ago on the dating app, and on their very first date they learned how much they actually have in common.

In fact, while sitting outside of Herrera’s home Miz Cavin spotted a ginger and white Tabby and immediately thought it was her own. She explained:

“I did a double take and immediately yelled out, ‘That’s my cat! That’s my cat!’”

HIGHlarious! Obviously, the similarities between the two animals inspired their owners to look into the specifics of their adoption. After a bit of digging, Cathleen and Brian learned they had adopted Ozzy and Butter four days apart from each other at the Petaluma Animal Services.

What’s even crazier is Cathleen always regretted not adopting the other kitten and had even promised her daughter that she’d try to find Ozzy’s brother. Cavin continued:

“Cali would say that Ozzy was sad because he missed his brother, and he was. I made a stupid promise to try and find his brother, and by a miracle and a soulmate, I did.”

We’re not crying, you are!

The cat siblings have since been reintroduced to each other and are on their way to becoming besties again! We mean, they better get used to each other since the couple plans to move in together. Cathleen concluded:

“Brian and I had both lost faith from crazy past relationships. When we found each other, we found our soulmates. Having the twin cats just confirms it further that it is serendipity at play. Meant to be! Now we have faith.”

Awwwww. Be sure to ch-ch-check out what Ozzy and Butter look like now (below)!

Also, why do we feel like someone’s already trying to secure the rights to this heartwarming tale?? Heck, it already sounds like a Lifetime movie to us! LOLz.
